I want to share my journey with you, on how I am learning to fight the good fight of faith through God's Word. Faith in God works 100%—I am a witness! This blog aims to build your faith to fight in every area of your life, proving that faith in God and His Word is still effective today.

Who Am I?

My name is Ife Peters. I grew up in a predominantly church-oriented environment. Reflecting on my past, I would admit that I was once a religiously brainwashed Christian, accepting everything said by pastors and other religious figures without question. I ran with their teachings without using the Word of God as a filter. It was my responsibility to search the scriptures, and I failed. I bore the consequence of that until the Holy Spirit helped me and has been helping me since.

Unlearning and Relearning

Through this blog, I want to share the many principles, concepts, and contexts I now realize I had erroneously learned from religion. I'm in the process of unlearning these misconceptions, particularly regarding what it means to be a Believer.

Faith is a crucial part of being a Believer. Without it, it is impossible to please God. Can you grasp that? You cannot please God without faith.

Scripture-Based Teachings

Everything I share in this blog will be scripture-based, not sermon-based. If you don’t find any foundation for what I write in the Bible, I encourage you to disregard it. Together, we will choose to be like the Berean Christians, who received the word with all readiness and diligently searched the Scriptures daily to confirm the truth of what they were taught.

It amazes me now to think of how, in the past, I accepted everything preached from the pulpit without cross-referencing it with the Bible. I realize now that I was not diligent in my walk with God in that aspect.

As a result of my journey, I have been unlearning and relearning about God. I am a continuous living witness to the fight of faith and invite you to join me on this journey of discovery.

I am, first and foremost, a child of God—the apple of His eye. I am also a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls.
